      I’m trying a new stitch. I keep messing up! 😖

        Are you doing single crochet? It looks like maybe you’re going into the third stitch on some of it and that’s why it looks like a different pattern. Or is that the crochet “knit” stitch? Either way, just looking it looks like maybe you went into the third stitch from the halfway up. It’s easy to do. I’ve done it before on projects when I was first learning it still looks good.

          @Lisa Thank you. Started out as HDC. Then I went to HDC in the back loop only is that what you mean? going to keep practicing. Seem to can’t keep my edges straight.
